Dolphins

Although there are many different types of dolphin, I'm just going to give you some info on them in general. Dolphins are famous for being clever (they are as clever as apes and cleverer than dogs), for smiling, and above all, for leaping out of the water like the one in the picture. They have a playful attitude. Every wild dolphin has its own unique click or whistle used to address it, like a name. How terrific is that?
A group of dolphins is called a pod or a school, and males are bulls, females cows, and young calves. They are carnivorous and mostly feed on fish and squid. They live in groups of about a dozen individuals, but sometimes these pods form together to create a superpod of up to 3,000 (o.O) dolphins.  Dolphins have acute eyesight, both in and out of the water.
